I am jasper, I study Environmental Geography and International Development at the University of East Anglia and have just finished my second year. Throughout my course I have studied resource use and management, focusing on issues of sustainability at large and small scales. I am an avid supporter of renewable energy sources and shall be undertaking my dissertation on the topic. It's important to reduce our carbon footprint on a global, national and local scale, by empowering people in realising that the changes they make can affect the outcome of climate change is vital. Changing habits is a difficult challenge, but it can be done with great rewards. I see encouraging and supporting small business enterprises as extremely important, and if they can thrive whilst being carbon neutral (which I believe is possible), then all the better. I am pleased to be part of this low carbon project and look forward to seeing it progress.
