The first tenant in Claydon Court’s new flexible working programme is Carbon Champions. This organisation recruits, trains and develops champions who measure, offset and reduce carbon emissions in their community.

The idea of carbon champions started way back with Suffolk’s Low Carbon Champions programme. This latest iteration builds on over a decade of theory and practice to accelerate the move to carbon net zero by 2030.

Whilst most of their work revolves around online communities and carbon calculators throughout the UK, having a physical base will enable new, local opportunities. Claydon Court makes the ideal choice having supported Suffolk programmes since 2010.

Carbon Champions will provide open office space for any organisation keen to reduce its carbon emissions. This could be informally or via a certification schemes such as Suffolk Carbon Charter or Suffolk 25x 25.
