This year marks the tenth anniversary of the ending of the Low Carbon Champions (LCC) programme. LCC worked with 85 small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) across Suffolk between 2010 and 2013, supporting them to increase carbon efficiency in their organisations.
Next month, the Low Carbon Champion (LCC) Evaluation Report will be ten years’ old too. Published on 10 March 2013 by Essex Business School, it provided a positive review of the LCC project.
March also marks the 10th anniversary of the publication of our Alternative Review. This was more critical in tone, and whilst acknowledging carbon reduction and behavioural change, questioned the programme’s scope, longevity and crucially, impact.
