Different learner’s different techniques

After strumming through more sites of advice I came across this video which has given me a lot of food for thought.

Firstly the design of the video with 3 guys sat around a table just isn’t very engaging so iterates my point in my previous post. Also the discussing moved onto client input this strongly relates to the content of the website and how best to deliver information.

The second point is more important, Eric Taub who is being interviewed suggests some really great points especially about client input. By developing the Claydon court intranet and transferring the functionality for LCD the input will come for the functioning and mechanics of the site will happen. However for the content of the site so far I am just trying to learn from what has worked best in the past for previous projects by reading posts such as this one. I have begun to consider is it worth doing a questionnaire to potential champions and previous champions as to what they think will work best? Or does giving choice just delude from the main aim, I defiantly don’t want to put all our eggs on one basket so to speak so a variety of delivery through videos, webinars, informative text and phone calls should keep an interesting balance to keep all variety of learners engaged.
