So in my quest not to put information online to gather virtual dust as no one has time to read it I have stumbled along the idea of videos. Not Videos of me talking to you whilst you look at my face on a screen- that clearly would just be distracting, but videos like these, interesting engaging videos that build up pictures and thought paths, that will provide data.

So I have worked out how we should present information but what are the extra steps to take so every one doesn’t start multi taskingsleeping or most likely multi-tasking! Jacqueline Beck has some tips, It all starts with the voice doesn’t matter how interesting the content is if you are monotone only the very willing will learn anything! By changing your voice tone and keeping the pace of the video the brain will continue to listen it is harder to tune out something that is changing. I also want to incorporate polls and questions to make the watcher think about their behaviour and the way their business works in relation to what our research is trying to achieve.

Will this lead to new champions who are armed with the knowledge to reduce the carbon footprint of their businesses by 15% or a you tube channel with 2 watches? The beauty of action research is we will soon find out!
