Cricket willow prevents flooding

A brilliant idea from Eight Ash Green Cricket Club legend and eco-warrior Alex Hammond has come to fruition. 

Willow trees were planted round the outfield to absorb water and carbon, and then provide the timber to create bats for future generations of cricket players.
