The new Low Carbon Deviance site is based loosely on the Low Carbon Champion programme (LCC) run between 2010-2013 by Suffolk County Council.  However due to cost of delivery it isn’t a sustainable process to try to reduce small businesses carbon footprint in the county.  By using the theory of positive deviants and technology we are attempting to create a scalable system that will allow small businesses to easily reduce their carbon footprint.

The Carbon Audits for the first Cohort has been done through The World Land Trust a great organisation based in Halesworth who do a lot of conservation of Biodiversity in threatened habits overseas. However in the future we plan to gamify the carbon audit making it interesting and most importantly FUN to push people to complete the audit.  To replace the walkabout that was done during the LCC audit you will see some businesses have provided videos of their offices.
