Less is MOR

Carbon neutral / carbon net zero / carbon balanced essentially mean the same i.e. measuring, offsetting and reducing carbon emissions.

Measuring emissions currently covers energy, transport and food.  We plan to widen this scope in the coming months.

Offsetting means investing in natural assets that are sufficient to absorb the carbon you have emitted.  It’s a controversial topic (yes, we are paying to pollute), but we use credible community-based solutions both in the UK and overseas.

Reducing is the ultimate objective.  Most definitions of carbon net zero means reducing by 90% and offsetting the remaining, unavoidable 10%.  That’s what we aim to do with the cricket community, and by 2030.
