As sponsors of Eight Ash Green CC – the world’s first carbon neutral cricket club – Neutral Territory were pleased to sponsor a tree planting project at their ground near Colchester. Six trees were planted to represent the six decades since Sir Len Hutton opened the club’s pavilion in 1960.
Pictured are Councillors Dean Nokes and John Jardine from Eight Ash Green Parish Council together with Club President Richard Parker and Carbon Champions Sophie Spicer and Anna Collins from the club’s youth section.
Our support for the heath where Eight Ash Green plays goes back a lot longer. Pictured below is the planting of twenty-five trees to celebrate our Silver Anniversary of clubhouse opening back in 1985.
