Fascinating item on Women’s Hour last week. The primary focus was on how religion was acting to tackle climate change. Two people were interviewed from CoE and Muslim backgrounds. Difficult to take notes as driving, but one was from Transition Town Tooting.

As you’d expect being on Women’s Hour, both were women. The point was made – and agreed on – that women are more likely to be passionate about climate change. This is already the case where climate change is already having most impact, and it is mothers and their families are the first to suffer.

Interesting as gender has never been a possible causal condition considered in our related research work. It is now.
