Neutral Territory has recruited three new Greencoats (aka interns) to support its carbon neutral property ambitions and help deliver the new Low Carbon Champion CIC project.  Greencoats are the next logical step after Redcoats (Butlins) and Yellowcoats (Maplins, right) and help tenants in NT properties and cases on the LCC CIC web site.

Greencoats are recruited from local universities with environmental studies courses and are either on paid full-time internships or voluntary part-time helper basis.  Once again all three – Josh Graham, Nathan Jamieson & Ellie Pepper – come from UEA’s excellent Environmental Sciences department.

“It’s a great way to give young people real-world experience and SME’s access to the latest ideas and knowledge they need’” explained Neutral Territory’s Richard ‘Rigsby’ Parker.  “It’s a bit of fun too which always helps.  We’ve even adapted the TV show’s famous tag-line to match the low carbon agenda.  Low-di-Low!”
